There are 3 types of formal dance flowers. The classics are the boutonniere and the corsage. The boutonniere is 1-3 flowers depending on flower size that coordinate with the date's dress. While I offer pins to attach the flowers to the suit jacket, I suggest the magnetic option. I find it doesn't move around as much nor does it put small holes in the jacket.
Any parent that's worn a corsage knows the elastic bands flop around providing an annoying mess all evening so instead of elastic bands, I create a beautiful unique corsage on a slap bracelet. Dance Posies are a more recent trend, but oh so cute! They are a small custom created bouquet tied with a ribbon. They're typically 5-7 flowers that coordinate with the couple's outfits and with the boutonniere.
