Bloom and Create Class

“Flowers just make me so happy” -Mike, Sow Wonder class participant

Working with flowers draws out our sense of wonder and joy. They’re so different, vibrant colors, strong or subtle scents, sharp or soft textures. We enjoy seeing how they can fit together. Come out to the Baltimore area’s best Mother’s Day experience. Create your own custom flower arrangement with guidance from an experienced florist in a teacup of your choice. As you create or after you create enjoy the local tea selections from The Reister's Daughter and the variety of bite sized baked goods included with the class.

Join our Bloom and Create class at Reister’s Daughter, in Reisterstown, Md, May 9th for Baltimore County’s only flowers and tea event. We combine all the fun of creating flowers with the joys of tea (or coffee) and baked goods all supporting local farms and local businesses. Our class is on May 9th at 1pm or 6pm so after spending a few hours creating and relaxing, you can show off your floral work on Sunday with more family and friends.

All your supplies are provided at the class; however, some have asked if they can bring their own favorite teacup and you’re welcome too! Nothing we do with the teacup will make it unusable for tea in the future. We will use a net of chicken wire instead of traditional floral foam because floral foam is horrible for the environment (if we’re going to wonder at creation we might as well also be ecologically minded), it has a lot of harmful chemicals in it, and the wire allows you more grace in creating since you can take flowers out and put them in without causing holes.

Reister’s Daughter is a located at 202 Main Street, Reisterstown, Md and provides the perfect meeting place for families spread out from Westminster to Sykesville to Catonsville and Towson!

This class is best for teens through adults as some more delicate fine motor skills are necessary. The Buds in a Mug class on May 8th at 6pm is better for children to create. It includes dinner and baked goods as well.
